7th Hot Air Balloon Festival at Geneva

If you are staying in Geneva for Easter holidays, from April 18 to April 21 the 7th Hot Air Balloon Festival will be taking place in our adoptive home city. Pilots from Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, the U.S., and, of course, Switzerland will meet at Geneva's skies to make us enjoy the colorful show!

If the weather allows it, we will be able to enjoy five hot air balloons going up from the five most important parks in the city. A giant caterpillar, and old joker pilor, a very large duckling, Darth Vader and a blow-up roster will also be part of the show.

Geneva International Jewish Film Festival

The 4th Geneva International Jewish Film Festival will take place from March 26 to March 30 at the Maisons des Arts de Grütli, and will offer a programme of international films exploring Jewish cultures and experiences. You will be able to discover some of the outstanding filmmakers and actors who created these films!

The International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights

This is the 12th edition of the FIFDH festival, a Forum on Human Rights where violations of civil, political, economical, social and cultural rights are denounced. The festival wishes to celebrate women and men around the world in their fight for human dignity.

Groove n' Move Festival

From the 13 to the 22 of February you can enjoy in Geneva the Groove n' Move festival! All around Geneva you can enjoy shows, documentaries, parties and workshops. Check their website http://groove-n-move.ch to find more about the style that suits you best!

36th Hot Air Balloon Festival - Château d'Oex

From January 25 to February 2 there will be a Hot Air Balloon Festival at Château d'Oex (1h45min from Geneva). There will be air shows, balloons of different shapes coloring the sky, competitions… Check the programme at their site:

During the event, and of course also through the year, you can also book balloon flights to see the Pays d'Enhaut valley from the air! If you have nothing to do during the weekend, be sure to drop by for a visit!

Festival Black Movie 2014

From January 17 to January 26 Geneva will be holding at the Maisons des Arts du Grütli (Rue General-Dufour 16) an International Festival of Independent Films. You can watch movies, participate in workshops or listen to round tables. Check everything in the site: http://blackmovie.ch/2014/.
