Driving on ice at Flaine

If you want to have fun driving on ice or follow a course, visit Flaine! There you can find the longest ice circuit of France. It is 1km long and 12-15m wide, and it has been created to teach how to avoid all the dangers you could find while driving on a mountain road with your car. Each night the circuit is watered so that you have at least a 25cm layer of ice that will hold the cars safely on the ground.

The circuit is open from December to March and is better to book in advance. And although at some moments you can race with your own car, the main idea of the circuit, created by a rally racer, is to teach drivers how to drive during winter.

Check their site: http://www.circuitglace.com

And enjoy!!!
